So you’ve planned a trip to Disney and you find out you’re pregnant… or maybe you planned a trip already knowing you were expecting a little bundle. Either way, you’re sure to be asking yourself “What can I do at a theme park while I’m pregnant?!”. It’s a good question, luckily I have the answers!
My first piece of advice is to stay on Disney property. This gives you easy and (usually) fast transportation back to your resort for a much needed mid day break. Maybe a dip in the pool, a nap or just some time with your feet up! If you don’t have a resort to go back to, try planning a sit down lunch or some time on a bench in the shade.
The best thing to do while pregnant at Disney in my opinion is eat! Most delicious snacks at WDW while pregnant? Pineapple Dole Whip, Funnel Cake, Pretzel & Cheese Dip, Cupcakes, and Cotton Candy.. To name a few. [For those of you who follow who are GF, some of these snacks won’t be an option]
There are a few rides that you will still be able to enjoy. The ones I have found myself most comfortable riding are:
Magic Kingdom: Buzz Lightyear, Astro Orbiter, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, Carousel Of Progress, The People Mover, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pans Flight, Winnie The Pooh, Dumbo, It’s A Small World, Carousel, Haunted Mansion, Aladdin’s Carpets, Jungle Cruise & WDW Railroad.
Epcot: Spaceship Earth, Universe of Energy, Nemo & Friends & Gran Fiesta Tour.
Hollywood Studios: The Great Movie Ride, Muppets 3D, & Toy Story Midway Mania. You can also enjoy the Indiana Jones Stunt Show.
Animal Kingdom: It’s Tough To Be A Bug & TriceraTop Spin. You can also catch the Festival of the Lion King or Finding Nemo show.
Your most important things to remember:
•Break whenever you’re tired.
•Drink plenty of water, and then drink one bottle more than that.
•Don’t push yourself to keep up with the rest of the crew!
•Consult with your doctor before taking a WDW trip!
